Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code within large-scale cloud environments. The role focuses on reliable cloud operations, automation, platform lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of cloud backend services.

You will work closely with agile teams to ensure stable, scalable, and secure platform operations while contributing to automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot daily cloud backend operations in large-scale environments.
  

• Perform hardware-oriented and platform tasks using console and command-line tools.
  

• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and QA tools for cloud database services.
  

• Automate operational processes using modern frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Perform platform lifecycle management activities including upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
  

• Investigate, resolve, and deliver fixes for incidents and bugs in accordance with defined processes.
  

• Drive feature deployments and contribute to continuous service improvement.
  

• Collaborate within agile teams, supporting open communication and knowledge sharing.
  

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field, or equivalent professional experience.
  

• 5–7 years of professional IT experience, with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
  

Technical Skills (consistent with original JD)

• Strong knowledge of cloud database solutions (relational and NoSQL).
  

• Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, hardware, storage, and IaaS / PaaS / SaaS models.
  

• Extensive experience with Linux systems and network-related services.
  

• Proven experience (3+ years) in:
  

  • Incident and bug management
    

  • Platform operations (patching, upgrades, lifecycle management)
    

  • Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
    

  • Automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Cloud Scope, CodeArts Light, Grafana)
    

• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
  

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery practices.
  

• Basic proficiency with Windows, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and standard office/text tools.
  

• OpenStack or open-source development experience is an advantage.
  

• Eligibility to work within the European Union due to data security requirements.
