Workplace Senior Engineer

An international IT services provider is seeking a Senior Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of workplace technologies, software deployment, and data center services. The role focuses on ensuring reliable IT operations and continuous service improvement within enterprise environments.

The position is based in Slovakia with a hybrid or remote working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement workplace and infrastructure solutions
  

• Manage data center operations and software deployments
  

• Handle incident, change, and problem management tickets
  

• Ensure system stability, availability, and performance
  

• Drive continuous improvements in IT services and processes
  

• Collaborate with team members or work independently on technical solutions
  

• Participate in on-call duties and troubleshoot technical issues
  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft security and workplace technologies, including:
  

  • Microsoft Defender (XDR)
    

  • Active Directory
    

  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
    

  • Microsoft Intune
    

  • Windows 365
    

  • iOS and macOS environments
    

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure components
  

• Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
  

• Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell)
  

• Microsoft Server technologies
  

• Azure and hybrid (on-premise + cloud) environments

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
