FP&A, Reporting:
Act as gatekeeper for the Group’s management reporting, budget planning and forecasting processes and ensures alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
Collaborate with senior management and functional leaders in developing project-specific budgets, tracking actuals against projections, and adjusting forecasts as necessary.
Conduct and lead regular variance analysis to explain financial performance against budget, forecast and prior periods and provide required insights and countermeasures.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to inform key stakeholders and corporate headquarters of actual and forecast results, variances and other insights.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
Supervise the team responsible for headquarters cost centre controlling and group wide functional cost controlling.
Provide guidance to the controlling teams of the business units and subsidiaries.
Strategic support:
Work closely with senior management to shape the organisation’s long-term financial strategy, providing insights from a FP&A perspective.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring the FP&A team partners effectively with other departments to drive business strategies and objectives.
Process Enhancement:
Support and drive the development of FP&A processes, systems and tools to ensure continuous improvements in effi-ciency and accuracy.
Develop / support training on controlling issues. Prepare quality manuals and work instructions for end users related to processes.
Education in accounting/finance/controlling/economics (e.g. Degree in business administration at university/university of applied science)
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Several years’ experience in finance, preferably in the sector of plant construction and capital goods industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to diverse stakeholders.
High level of resilience and assertiveness.
Strong ability to set priorities and take decisions.
Team player and customer oriented.
Experienced in working in an intercultural environment
Industry experience including large long term projects across multiple sites
Global company experience with multiple regional office and projects
Competence in working methods
Good understanding of financial consolidation principles, core financial KPI’s, P&L, balance sheet, cost centers structures and dynamics.
Proficient in ERP systems IFS or SAP (FI/CO) and Microsoft Office programs
Fluent in English. Other languages are a plus.
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Strong proficiency in analysing complex financial data and metrics and translating them into actionable insights.
Effective at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales managers, project managers and engineering.
Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
