Senior ICT Engineer – Azure

An international IT services provider is looking for a Senior ICT Engineer specializing in Azure hybrid and on-premise environments. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operating secure and high-availability cloud and infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments.

The position is remote or hybrid within Slovakia and involves working in an enterprise-scale environment supporting critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure hybrid/on-premise infrastructure (2nd/3rd level support)
  

• Ensure availability, performance, and security of cloud and on-prem environments
  

• Manage incident, change, and problem tickets (ITIL-based processes)
  

• Design and implement Azure hybrid solutions and infrastructure components
  

• Deploy and manage services such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity (RBAC, directory services)
  

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on cloud projects
  

• Drive continuous improvements in reliability, security, and automation
  

• Support onboarding, documentation, and knowledge sharing
  

• Participate in on-call support and incident resolution
  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• 2–3+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure operations
  

• Strong experience with Azure hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud integration)
  

• Knowledge of:
  

  • Virtual machines, storage, and networking
    

  • Identity and access management (e.g., directory services, RBAC)
    

  • Security and governance in cloud environments
    

Nice to Have:

• Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform)
  

• Experience with multi-cloud or complex enterprise environments
  

• Understanding of infrastructure architecture and system integration
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  

• Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305)
  

• ITIL Foundation
  

Languages

• English: Upper-intermediate (B2)
  

• German: Advantage
