Popis pozície

An international IT services provider is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The role focuses on automating business processes and delivering scalable solutions aligned with ITIL best practices within an agile development environment.

The position is based in Slovakia with remote or hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow-based applications and ITSM solutions
  • Build and customize modules such as Request Fulfilment, Catalog Items, and self-service applications
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Develop automation workflows and integrations within the ServiceNow platform
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, deployment)
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders in agile (Scrum) teams
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Mentor junior developers and support onboarding activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices


Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow platform development and configuration
  • Proficiency in JavaScript within ServiceNow context (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)
  • Experience with:
    • Service Portal and self-service applications
    • Catalog Items and Request Fulfilment
    • Workflows, Flow Designer, and automation
    • CMDB data modeling and data migration
    • Security concepts (roles, ACLs, access control)
  • Experience with version control, update sets, and scoped applications

Methodology:

  • Understanding of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL v4)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM) – preferred
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications are an advantage

Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development

Languages

  • English: Required
  • German: Advantage
